The Arts Society Dover, Deal & Sandwich was founded to provide local people with the opportunity to come together to enhance and expand their knowledge and enjoyment of the arts. We offer a programme of excellent illustrated lectures on a wide range of subjects given by professionals who are experts in their chosen fields.

We hold one or two Study Days every year which deal with a specific subject in greater depth. We also offer outings to exhibitions or places of interest and organise trips further afield both in the UK and abroad. Members have the opportunity to become involved in conservation projects as Heritage Volunteers or become a part of our team of Church Recorders.

Our members automatically become members of the national organisation The Arts Society and receive a quarterly magazine on the arts.

Our lectures are held on the first Tuesday morning of each month (except July and August) and presented by experts accredited by The Arts Society. The 2022-23 programme is of the highest calibre and we are happy for members of the public to join us for the lectures.

Becoming a Member

Attending as a Guest
