ST MARGARET'S PLAYERS |
About us: Located on the famous White Cliffs of Dover and the supposed birthplace of James Bond, St Margaret’s at Cliffe/Bay (the home of many stage and screen stars) have seen The St Margaret's Players successfully performing for over 60 years. With such a rich history in the industry and many professionals volunteering to help produce shows, The St Margaret’s Players have played host to many memorable performances. Our group is open to all ages, abilities and genders whether you fancy spending time on the stage or off of it. We are always on the lookout for those keen to hone their talents behind the scenes such as carpentry, lighting, sound and stage hands so if you want to take part in a very ongoing and social group but don’t want to be on stage acting, still come along… There is far more to a production than the actors and actresses!!
Next upcoming show: Matilda Jr - 10th-11th May 2024 St Margaret's Players Juniors will be performing the junior musical adaption of Roald Dahl's Matilda, St Margarets Village Hall Auditions - (date TBA), St Margarets Village Hall
Get Involved We are always keen to see new faces, whether you have years of experience or none at all. On Stage: If you have the urge to join us on stage then you are welcome to come and join us at an audition and try your hand. If you don't fancy being up front, then you can also join our chorus in pantomimes and musicals. Off Stage: There's also a lot of work that happens off stage as well. With costuming, set building, lighting, sound, music and stage management being part of the list. So if you fancy getting involved but don't want to be on the stage get in touch and see how you can help.
